About

After serving four years in the US Army, I started working at a custom steel fabrication and welding shop, where I gained skills in steel fabrication. Over the next nine years, I performed certified welding and handled machining and fabrication work. I then joined a steel fabrication and millwright/rigging company, where I served as the fabrication shop foreman for four years and the steel services project manager for two years. Subsequently, I worked at a fabrication and erection company as the senior project manager for four years. Afterward, I spent 14 years in a radiation protection and ventilation company as the chief designer, utilizing 3D CAD alongside an excellent design team. I also acted as the senior field engineer, supervising installations. Currently, I am the training and development program manager at the second shop I worked for, now in a larger facility and a better location, where I mentor and train in areas such as estimating, project management, steel fabrication, and CNC machining.
